I'm a technical writer and English Professor with over 20 years of experience writing, teaching, and tutoring. I received my bachelor's degree from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida with a triple major in Elementary Education, Specific Learning Disabilities, and English.

I taught special education for a while, then returned to school, earning my master's degree in English from the University of North Florida. I have been teaching college English and Writing classes ever since.

I have worked with a diverse range of learners, including children with learning disabilities, adults returning to school later in life, and active-duty military personnel pursuing a degree while serving their country. I have tutored students with every learning style, and many with ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, and PTSD.

I appreciate that not everyone learns the same way, and I switch approaches, activities, and media as I can to target my students' strengths.

I am a fan of Disney, Sci-Fi, Marvel, and DC Comics, so I enjoy incorporating those references into my writing when possible.
