Certified Tutor

As a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Portland State University, I am dedicated to helping students excel in subjects such as Anatomy & Physiology, High School Science, and NPTE exam prep. With over two years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my tutoring sessions, tailoring my approach to accommodate various learning styles. My time as a teacher's assistant at Portland State and as a youth group leader has equipped me with effective strategies to engage middle and high school students as well as college age and above. I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students can thrive, using visual aids and various tools to help students learn in a way that works for them. I am motivated by the opportunity to inspire curiosity and foster academic success in others, making learning enjoyable and meaningful.

I coach high school swimming for a few months out of the year and have a passion for helping others. I enjoy helping lead youth group and singing in worship at my church. In my downtime I enjoy spending time with my husband and my dog, watching Jeopardy and playing tabletop and board games.
