I hold a Bachelor of Arts double major degree in Classical Studies and History from York University, where I studied ancient Greco-Roman languages, literature, and culture, while pursuing a broad history and language education as well as a Certificate of Proficiency in Italian Language (CPIL). I excelled in language, literature, culture, and history courses at York, garnering high marks and winning two awards for essays analyzing ancient texts, one being in the original Ancient Greek. Around April, I began tutoring in French, and since then have also begun tutoring in English as a Second Language and Portuguese. I use prepared teaching materials, regular testing and review, and in-person instruction to accelerate my students' comprehension of these languages, with demonstrable success. I am most passionate about language instruction, primarily French, Italian, Portuguese, English, and Latin, but I am also well-suited to teach essay writing. In my role as an educator, I believe in acknowledging my students' successes at every opportunity to increase their confidence in the areas in which they excel, while also consistently isolating the areas that require more attention. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, writing, producing music, consuming media, and travelling
