Certified Tutor

I have several years of tutoring experience and formal academic teaching experience across various educational levels, including undergraduate and graduate students.

My educational training was in Psychometrics and Quantitative Psychology (Ph.D. from Fordham University) and Statistics (M.S. from Rutgers University). My specialties include AP Psychology, AP Statistics, introductory statistics, and other advanced statistical methodologies. My favorite might be Introductory Statistics because I find it fun to teach--there are some many interesting ways to teach the basics.

My teaching philosophy centers on understanding each student's unique learning needs and building from their current knowledge, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment. I find great joy in transforming what may seem like daunting requirements into exciting opportunities for exploration and growth in statistics and psychology.

In my spare time, I enjoy conducting quantitative research, coding in R, and learning Python. These activities enrich my tutoring approach.
