My name is Liam Toews, and I am currently pursuing a BBA at Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. With over 2 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in subjects like Calculus, Algebra, and Finance. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring complex concepts at their own pace. I am passionate about mathematics and finance, inspired by my own experiences in university case competitions and mathematics contests. I aim to ignite that same enthusiasm in my students, helping them develop a deep understanding of the material. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy engaging with data analysis projects and preparing for actuarial exams, which further enrich my knowledge and teaching methods.
