I'm thrilled to help you master English, Chinese, math, or do college application prep. I've always loved learning languages and exploring cultures, which led me to study East Asian Studies at Yale University and Public Policy at the University of Michigan. Throughout college, I spent two summers in Taiwan, where I immersed myself in Chinese language and culture, sharpening my fluency and deepening my appreciation for intercultural communication.
As a John C. Daniels Fellow, I taught Chinese to elementary students in New Haven Public Schools, creating interactive lessons and helping students gain confidence in their abilities. Beyond languages, I also have a strong foundation in math and enjoy breaking down complex concepts into understandable steps, making learning accessible and enjoyable.
My goal is always to help my students build confidence, achieve their academic goals, and even have fun along the way. Whether it's writing a compelling essay, mastering Chinese pronunciation, or tackling tricky math problems, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. Let's get started! I also would be a strong resource for writing college essays or studying for the SAT or ACT.
