I have over four years of experience tutoring in English and reading from elementary to college students. My approach centers on storytelling and creative expression, making literature accessible and engaging. I believe that every student has a unique way of understanding, and I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs, often incorporating visual aids and relatable examples. My love for literature, especially Shakespeare and creative writing, fuels my desire to inspire students to find their voice through words. I actively seek to foster a supportive environment where students feel confident to explore and develop their skills. In my free time, I enjoy writing poetry and organizing local slam poetry events, further connecting with young writers in my community. Additionally, I have taught art for over 2 years, and have sold my paintings at fairs and online.

I love hiking, cooking, baking, painting, writing, reading, theater, and I am currently in the process of directing an original movie. I have a cat named Lloyed who is the cutest Russian Blue cat you have ever seen (I am totally not biased at all) and this past year I have started gardening in my backyard. I also enjoy building lego, playing board and card games, especially Rummikub, Dabble, and Upwords.
