As a dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner with a Master's degree in Pediatric Primary Care from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, I have over 8 years of experience teaching nursing students in my clinic. My approach focuses on fostering a deep understanding of clinical rationale, as I believe that knowing "why" is essential for effective nursing practice. I enjoy connecting with students of all ages, helping them navigate complex topics in nursing, particularly related to pediatrics. Teaching is a passion of mine, whether in the clinic or leading children's church classes. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material.
