Hi! My name is Nube Torres, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Nanotechnology Engineering with a minor in Biomechanics from the University of Waterloo. I am passionate about teaching Spanish, my mother tongue, and I believe in creating a personalized, engaging learning experience for my students. With experience in tutoring English and a background in substituting for an English teacher in Ecuador, I understand the challenges students face when learning a new language. My approach includes interactive activities and real-life dialogues to build confidence and fluency. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Beyond tutoring, I enjoy reading literature, particularly works by authors like Mario Benedetti, which helps me stay connected to my language and culture.
