As a licensed dental hygienist with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and currently pursuing my Master of Public Health, I am deeply passionate about empowering students in their journey to become licensed professionals. Although I have less than a year of formal tutoring experience, my 13 years of direct clinical practice equip me with the insights necessary to guide candidates preparing for the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination. My approach combines visual learning techniques, such as using models and study guides, with personalized instruction tailored to each student's goals. I am particularly enthusiastic about teaching topics like disease prevention, anatomy, and chronic disease management, which align with my expertise in health and wellness. By fostering a supportive learning environment and focusing on evidence-based strategies, I aim to help students not only master the material but also gain confidence in their abilities as future dental hygienists.
