As a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Grinnell College, I bring experience in guiding students through the challenges of physics and mathematics, particularly in AP Calculus, AP Physics, and college-level coursework. My tutoring approach focuses on adapting to each student's learning style and creating a supportive environment where they feel confident expressing difficulties. I emphasize active listening and encourage students to articulate their thinking, which often leads to those pivotal "aha" moments. I firmly believe that with the right guidance, every student can master complex concepts. My passion for teaching was sparked through mentoring peers during my undergraduate years, and I am excited to continue helping students unlock their full potential in STEM subjects. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading scientific literature and spending time outdoors, which keeps me energized and brings balance to my teaching.
