As a passionate educator with a strong background in aviation and STEM, I bring experience teaching college-level courses in flight science, FAA-regulated subjects. My professional background as a certified pilot and safety officer allows me to offer real-world insights and make complex technical topics accessible and engaging.
In addition to working with adult learners and college students, I also enjoy teaching younger students and have successfully tutored elementary-aged children in foundational math, science, reading, writing, grammar etc. I adapt my teaching style to fit each student's learning needswhether it's breaking down advanced aerodynamics or making fractions fun and relatable for kids. In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, reading both fiction and non-fiction, fishing on quiet lakes, and flying airplanes whenever I can. I love having fun with game nights, helping out with community events, and exploring new places with traveling.
