My name is Laura Adams, and I am passionate about empowering students through tailored tutoring in project management, study skills, and organization. With a Master's degree in Project Management from Western Carolina University and over twelve years of tutoring experience, I have honed my ability to listen to students' needs and adapt my teaching methods accordingly. My extensive background includes an 11-year tenure at WCU, where I developed and taught project management courses, including PMP certification preparation, to over 1,400 adult learners. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment, where I collaborate with students to outline lesson plans and revisit challenging topics as needed. My goal is to inspire confidence and mastery in my students, helping them navigate both academic challenges and real-world applications of project management principles. I am excited to share my knowledge and experience, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.

My interests include: Professional development, hiking, health and wellness, reading science fiction and fantasy, binge watching murder mysteries and crime shows, volunteering with the elderly, crocheting, and event planning.
