My name is Alannah Cuendet, and I am a rising junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Arizona. With over two years of tutoring experience in chemistry, particularly in general chemistry, I have developed a strong passion for making complex concepts accessible and engaging for my students. My teaching philosophy centers on patience and understanding; I believe in allowing students the time to think critically about problems rather than rushing to answers. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where curiosity thrives, helping students see the relevance of science and math in their everyday lives. I am also a teacher's assistant for an Intro to Chemical Engineering course, which further enhances my ability to connect with students and tailor my approach to their individual needs. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy conducting research in a chemical engineering lab, which fuels my enthusiasm for the subject.
