As a passionate educator with a Master's in Public Health from George Washington University, I am dedicated to empowering adult learners in literacy and English as a second language. With over two years of tutoring experience, I have developed a student-centered approach that tailors lessons to individual needs and backgrounds, ensuring that every learner feels supported and understood. My teaching philosophy emphasizes engagement and practical application, using interactive methods to connect with students and facilitate their learning journey. I am particularly motivated to help immigrants navigate their new environment through language acquisition, drawing on my extensive experience in public service and my fluency in both English and Spanish.
