Certified Tutor

I am passionate about helping students build confidence and reach their academic goals through patient, personalized instruction. My primary focus is tutoring Chemistry I, but I also have experience supporting students in Biology, Anatomy, Drafting, and Psychology.

With each student, I adapt my teaching style to fit their unique learning needs and strengths. My approach goes beyond explaining concepts I aim to help students understand how they learn best, develop effective study habits, and become independent thinkers. I believe in creating a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are opportunities for growth.

In my previous roles as a Supplemental Instruction Leader, peer tutor, and mentor, I have guided students with varying levels of confidence and skill, from those building foundational understanding to those striving for top grades. Seeing students have "aha!" moments and watching their confidence grow is the most rewarding part of what I do.

I am committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning experience and look forward to continuing to make a difference, one student at a time.
