Certified Tutor

I am a college graduate from Brown University with a BA in Media & Cultural Studies, passionate about helping middle and high school students excel in reading comprehension and build writing skills. My experience includes working as a 5th and 6th grade reading teacher, serving as a writing tutor, and leading high school afterschool programming. I believe that we learn best when excited about the material, and I work to connect students interests and passions to lesson content. As a recent student myself, I know the importance of supportive, nonjudgemental learning environments, and I bring that to all of my sessions. I particularly love offering writing supporthelping students express their ideas clearly in their own voice!
