As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Science, awarded with honors from Boston University, I have over 4 years of experience in education and 2 years of experience in tutoring, with a focus on environmental and marine science. As well as experience tutoring in biology and earth sciences. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where communication is key. I believe in tailoring lessons to meet each student's unique needs, ensuring they feel invested and motivated. I have worked with diverse age groups, from middle schoolers to adults, and I find particular joy in helping students understand complex concepts through relatable, real-world examples. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring nature and advocating for marine conservation, which further fuels my enthusiasm for teaching this vital subject.
