I am a graduate of the University of British Columbia, majoring in Sociology, who is entering into the University of Oxford's MPhil in Comparative Social Policy this fall. I specialize in the social sciences, research methodology, and academic writing. I have tutoring experience in Sociology, Psychology, English, Cultural Studies, and Anthropology. I bring both academic rigor and practical insights to every tutoring session by breaking down complex theoretical frameworks into accessible components while fostering students' capacity for critical thinking. I have a wide range of hobbies and interests. I love reading books on classics, historical fiction, and (most recently) bibliographies. Playing board games (mainly cooperative ones- but I do love Catan) is another interest. Going for walks in nature, scuba diving, and swimming are activities I really enjoy doing.
