I've worked in the education field my entire life and have classroom experience with all grades from elementary to high school. Tutoring for over five years and getting to know individual students has become my true passion. My greatest achievement is being a mom of three, with a senior and two recent graduates. With a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Kansas and broad experience working with students, I have the skills to help each learner reach their full potential. As a summer school and substitute teacher I'm knowledgeable in the curriculum of all subjects, but I most frequently tutor math. I've worked with special needs children and have supported students as a learning coach for online school. Adapting to each student's unique learning style and including personal interests is how I approach every tutoring interaction.

Because I'm a mom of three boys, most of my hobbies have always involved them. I enjoy watching football and have been a Kansas City Chiefs fan since childhood. We spend a lot of time at Lake of the Ozarks where my parents live. My dad taught me how to drive a boat when I was very young, so we go boating, skiing, and fishing quite often. I love watching true crime shows and history documentaries, but also like to read a good mystery when I have the time. Most importantly, I'm an eager learner of just about anything that captures my interest!
