I am currently pursing a degree in Electrical Engineering at University of California - Davis, with a concentration in Communications and Signal Processing. Starting in 2020, I volunteered with several virtual tutoring organizations that arose as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting elementary and middle school students in Language Arts, Math, and Science. As schools reopened, I transitioned towards becoming a peer tutor for high school students, where I was able to work with students one-on-one and tailor lessons to their individual learning styles. While I've tutored a wide variety of subjects, my main passion lies in teaching Math and Electrical Engineering courses, as they are the subjects that I understand the most deeply and enjoy the most. My approach to tutoring is centered around creating a safe space, where students can feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and explore new ideas without fear of judgment. With a background in a project-based high school, I developed a passion for helping students connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications by creating meaningful and engaging lesson plans.

Outside of tutoring, I have a deep passion for music! I spent 5 years in a band, where I sang and played electric guitar, keyboard, and bass guitar. Every summer, I work as a camp counselor at my local music school. I also enjoy staying active through mixed martial arts and bouldering. In addition, I am a proud member of the UC Davis Formula Racing team, where we design, build, and test our own formula-style electric vehicle from scratch.
