Certified Tutor

I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Salisbury University in 2017 and a Master's Degree in Special Education with a focus in trauma from Towson University in 2023. I am currently working towards a second Master's Degree, this time in Mathematics Education. In my teaching career, I have taught 4th grade for 3 years, 5th grade for 3 years, and now my current position is a 6th grade math teacher. While I have experience teaching all subjects at the elementary level, I am most passionate about math since that is what I have taught for my entire teaching career. My students and I have fun learning a variety of math strategies in the most engaging ways possible. I thrive off building relationships with them and adapting lessons to meet their needs. I am also a strong believer in the power of tutoring and how extra support can go a long way in helping a child succeed now and in the future. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and dogs, reading novels, watching sports, and doing arts and crafts.
