As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from CUNY Brooklyn College, I bring over five years of classroom teaching and personalized tutoring experience, primarily in English language arts and ESL. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable and confident. I leverage my background in theoretical linguistics to design personalized curricula to address individual needs, especially for those learning English as a second language. By employing this approach, I help students navigate potential challenges in English that arising from their language of origin. I am deeply committed to fostering a love for language and literacy, and I take pride in the progress my students achieve. In addition to my tutoring work, I am an avid reader and a creative writer, which enriches my teaching and inspires my students to express themselves through language.
