I am an English/Language Arts teacher with over twenty years of experience in the classroom. During this time, I have taught ages ranging from seventh grade through twelfth, and from skillsets of beginner to advanced. Most of my experience comes from teaching college prep freshmen and AP Language juniors, but don't think that limits me. I'm currently all-hands-on-deck with my seventh and eighth grade students, teaching them high school necessities for when they leave my hands. I enjoy reading and writing and hope to share that love with those I meet. I have one Masters in Educational Foundations and another Masters in English and Rhetoric. I can't wait to work with you and yours.

I love visiting new and old places with my daughters. We love the water and hiking so are attraced to those types of locales. I also love to read in my spare time (and while driving in the car thanks to my Libby app) and love to experiment with cooking. I also try to help foster dogs on their way to new homes whenever time allows. And I'm definitely a fan of our city's baseball and football teams!
