Certified Tutor

I'm a student with a range of tutoring experience from the middle school to college level. I'm currently pursuing a dual degree in Molecular Biology and Environmental Sciences, and I'm a trained tutor in both fields at my college. Beyond that, I'm extremely passionate about scientific education. I think one of the greatest skills a student of the sciences can have is the ability to help another person understand their field. As a tutor, my goal is to help my students move beyond just the ability to memorize information into truly understanding and applying it, as this will help them succeed most effectively. I like to apply interdisciplinary skills like writing, reading, and visual analysis to help students understand their topic of interest at a deeper level. I'm so excited to be a tutor on this platform!
