Reading and writing is the foundation of everything we need to be successful. As a language arts and English tutor, my goal is to help secondary students progress in building strong reading, writing, and communication skills that will not only support them in the classroom, but prepare them for life.
I am passionate about helping all students because I want them to have a love of learning and look back fondly on their education. I have been a middle school teacher for 9 years and I also taught high school for 3 years. I received my bachelor's degree at Western New England University where I also played softball. I then went on to earn my Master's Degree at Quinnipiac University. After teaching for a few years I earned my administrative degree at the University of New England.
Outside of teaching I enjoy playing and coaching sports, spending time with family and friends, reading, and being outdoors.
