I am a graduate of Messiah College and Regent University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and my Master of Education as a Reading Specialist. I taught first grade in Virginia for seven years. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about reading and elementary math. I have tutored students in reading comprehension, decoding, sight words, and fluency. I love to see students' confidence grow as they master new skills while learning.

I like to cook, bake, read, play board games, and take family walks around the neighborhood. My husband and I have two sons who are 4 and 1. Our favorite family tradition is making pizza and watching a movie together on Friday nights. We love to travel to the beach and to Disney World.
