Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History and continued on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Studies. I am certified to teach gifted and talented courses, Advanced Placement United States History, and certified in Read to Succeed. After graduation I taught in Pennsylvania for 17 years at the middle and high school level and I've been teaching in South Carolina for the last 8 years. Even after 25 years of teaching, I'm still passionate about education and love to create new lessons and try new methods of teaching to reach all students and help them achieve their goals. With 25 years of teaching experience, I've taught a wide variety of courses. They include, A.P. United States History, United States History, Global Studies / World History, American Government, Law Education, Psychology, Sociology, Geography, and Economics. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about United States History, Government, Sociology, and Psychology because they are so impactful in our daily lives.But I would love to help you in any subject that I can. In my spare time, I enjoy coaching sports (basketball and football), exercising, and spending time with my family.
