Certified Tutor

I am currently getting my PhD in chemistry at the University of Virginia! During my graduate program, I have tutored high school and college students in high school chemistry, general chemistry, and organic chemistry. I also worked as a teaching assistant for the organic chemistry lab for a year.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Ball State University in chemistry. There, I was a tutor at the BSU Learning Center, where I tutored chemistry. I was also a teaching assistant for organic chemistry I and II lectures.

I love chemistry and want to be able to share it with you, however, I do understand that it is a difficult subject to learn. In high school, I took AP chemistry, but I struggled in the class, like some of you may be struggling as well. I failed the AP exam and didn't do great in the class. That experience wasn't the best, but I do believe it made me a better chemist in the long run and made me more equipped to better teach you.
