I am a first-generation Cantonese-Canadian Immigrant that's currently pursuing a double major in Honours Psychology and Social Development at the University of Waterloo. Besides my education, I'm a Volunteer text crisis responder for the Kids Help Phone, where I get the opportunity to connect and support dozens of youth.
I am most passionate about English, Literature, and Psychology. I have experience helping students prepare for their APs, and am that one annoying relative that just loves to bore all the little kids with my *fun facts*.
It is my firm belief that a foundational education is what sets up someone to excel in all aspects of life. Yet, I also believe that the most efficient way to teach is one that is enjoyable for all parties involved. I understand that your educational goals are a journey and will be happy to be given the privilege to help you navigate to that point together.

My two biggest hobbies are leatherworking and fantasy nerd culture. My favourite pastime is playing DND or Pathfinder 2E, and you can always catch me at a rein faire. I also love working with my hands and that's led to my passion of making handmade leather goods that i can then strut with at the fair :D I also play the tenor saxophone and am deep into my Uni's A Cappella scene. Fun fact, I performed at the Canadian ICCA Quarter finals (that's the competition from the Pitch Perfect movies!)
