Hi! My name is Kathryn and as a graduate in History and Political Science I take an interdisciplinary focus to my tutoring. From my 6 years of tutoring experience I have developed my teaching philosophy which l centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where each student feels valued and empowered to express themselves. I am passionate about helping young learners develop their reading and writing skills, as I believe these foundational abilities are crucial for their academic success. I cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring that lessons are not only informative but also enjoyable. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading historical novels and exploring new cultures, which enriches my teaching and allows me to bring a broader perspective to my sessions.
