Certified Tutor

I am a current student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Information Science. I have participated as an Academic Peer Mentor for Statistics and have worked alongside a Professor in a class 150 students. I have set up study sessions for groups of 15-30 students, and during lectures, have provided assistance to students as to help them follow along. I have also tutored multiple students in 1-1 sessions in programming and in preparation for upcoming exams. The class included an R-studio (programming) session every week in which I spent my time helping students understand the fundamentals behind it. I have always been passionate about Math and Computer Science in my career and am confident in teaching others the methods that I have found best to improve my knowledge whether that be in Statistics, Mathematics, or Programming. I am open to many forms of teaching and have always been fond on learning how I can improve my own.
