I have a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Azusa Pacific University, and I have a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Grand Canyon University. I teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) online. Specifically, I teach English for Special Purposes (e.g., English for Tourism, Business English, etc.), English for Academic Purposes, Vocational English as a Second Language (VESL), and English as a Global Language. I love teaching international undergraduate, graduate, and adult students. I believe the English language is a fundamental need, so adult ESOL students need to obtain English language skills and cross-cultural understanding to be able to reach their life and career goals. Most adult ESOL students have studied English for years in their home countries without much opportunity to use it, but now coming to the USA, they get to use it! I provide adult students with the opportunity through various real-life student-centered listening, speaking, comprehension, pronunciation, and vocabulary activities to gain the English skills that they need. I also provide error correction and feedback.

In high school, my friends were from Spain, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bosnia, Brazil, and Hong Kong, etc. In college, my roommates were from South Africa, Taiwan, and Thailand. I studied abroad on Semester at Sea and in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam. Most recently, my family has "adopted" a son/brother who is from Turkey!
