I'm a 5 year substitute teacher at Portland Public Schools in Portland, OR. I also was a preschool teacher for 4 years working with ages 3-5. I then loved this so much I went back to school to get my Masters in Elementary Education with an Arts Integration certificate too. I am a fully endorsed teacher in Oregon. I love working with my students in social emotional awareness, skills and support so we can have a strong trust to then learn! My strengths and passions lay in helping my students find confidence in reading, writing, phonics and mental health! I also love weaving in art focused activities to support our academic work as well as major your work reflective to who you are-because you're amazing! I'm so looking forward to helping you find your own voice, talents and confidence! Being a substitute for 5 years has allowed me to be exposed to so many different amazing kids, talents, learning styles and so many fun ways to support them find their confidence in learning.
