Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate from Rowan University with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Writing Arts (with a Creative Writing concentration) and Theatre & Dance. During my four years at Rowan, I was an active member of the theatrical honors society Alpha Psi Omega. I am a five-time Denise Gess Literary Award winner for my poetry and prose, and I am also a published author, with my work appearing in several literary magazines. When it comes to tutoring, I am most passionate about Creative Writing, English, and Literature. I believe storytelling is a cornerstone of our lives and cultures, and there is so much power and understanding to be found in producing our own work and critically analyzing the work of those that came before us. I believe in a hands-on, exploratory approach to learning, helping students figure out their strengths to build overall confidence and produce work they are proud of.
