I graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since graduation, I have worked in the automotive, hydrogen and natural gas industries as a design engineer, bringing new valves and piping systems to life. I use math often in my work to size pipes, determine pressure, flow, temperature and perform other valuable functions. I have experience tutoring various topics other than math to children from grades 1 to 7 and I would love to likewise share my passion of math to kids that I can help. I am currently going through a textbook on the fundamentals of aerodynamics and the mathematical involvement has been a delight for me and a nostalgic return to learning math in high school. I love math and I also love pedagogy (the science of teaching). So I would love to share my love of math in an understandable and simple way that aims to help others succeed.
