During my 3+ years of teaching writing, my favorite moments were interacting with students one-on-one or in small groups, working as a team to figure out what they wanted to say in their writing, and how they could say it clearly and effectively.
I'm excited for the opportunity to work together with students on their writing and communication skills again, this time as a tutor! I also hope to use my degree in English to help others understand, appreciate, and be enriched by great books!

It probably doesn't come as any surprise that I love to read! Not just "the classics," but also science fiction and fantasy...And don't we all love British naval historical fiction? My non-literary hobbies are going on long walks and long runs, playing guitar, spending time on one of the Great Lakes, and keeping up with my daughter.
