I'm passionate about helping others learn and improve their ability to think about concepts in a meaningful process. I love sharing my knowledge and teaching others around me to help lift them up and see them be successful. My experience includes teaching different subjects to clients, my own colleagues, and others within the community. I received my Bachelor's from Missouri Western State University, graduating a year early in 2020. My degree is Health and Exercise Science with a minor in biology. I spent a year in Midwestern University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and decided to discontinue for personal reasons. I then worked as a sports medicine professional for two years across the Chicagoland area. I wanted to pursue higher levels of learning, and made the decision to go back to school, and am now in nursing school. I graduate in December 2025! The subjects I'll be tutoring are anatomy/physiology, biology, biomechanics, and kinesiology. These subjects I am extremely passionate and familiar with. I'm proud to say that my department chair of my undergraduate program recommended me as a kinesiology tutor. My approach to teaching is to stay organized, focused, but keeping it a safe and simple space with some flexibility in terms of having fun while learning. I like to include fun memorization patterns and relating didactic concepts to real life function. Outside of academia, I enjoy reading, coloring and painting, spending time outside, spending time with my boyfriend/friends/family, and love making new recipes!
