Certified Tutor

Passion for helping students comes from my own journey growing up in a rigorous academic environment where support made all the difference. I understand what it feels like to struggle with difficult concepts or to feel behind, and I'm committed to making learning accessible, engaging, and empowering for others. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement.

My experience includes one-on-one tutoring, where I've supported learners from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. I've helped students navigate everything from high school science courses to advanced college-level topics. I enjoy creating personalized study strategies that foster both understanding and confidence.

I earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a master's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. My academic foundation allows me to explain complex scientific ideas clearly and thoroughly. I am currently focused on expanding my impact through further professional development in medical education.

I tutor chemistry, biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and general study skills. My favorite subject to tutor is biochemistry it ties together the beauty of biology and the logic of chemistry, and I enjoy helping students see how it applies in real-world, clinical, or research settings.

My teaching philosophy is student-centered and empathetic. I strive to meet each student where they are, then build upward with a structured, step-by-step approach. I use visuals, analogies, and active recall techniques to deepen understanding. Patience and adaptability are central to my tutoring style, especially when working with students who may feel discouraged or overwhelmed.

Outside of academia, I enjoy spending time at the beach, especially in Barbados my home away from home.
