As a dedicated and results-driven Social Studies educator with nearly a decade of classroom experience, I am passionate about helping students master the complexities of Government and United States History, including at the Advanced Placement level. I hold licensure in Social Studies for grades 712 and am certified to teach both AP U.S. History and AP U.S. Government and Politics.

Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of coursesModern World History, U.S. History, Government, African-American History, AP U.S. History, and AP Governmentin diverse school settings. This experience has given me the flexibility and expertise to connect with learners of all backgrounds and ability levels.

My approach to instruction is grounded in rigorous, student-centered teaching that emphasizes critical thinking, civic engagement, and academic excellence. By using data-driven strategies, cooperative learning techniques, and real-world applications, I have consistently helped students improve their performance on state and national assessments. I've also taken on leadership roles in curriculum development and equity initiatives, reflecting my commitment to inclusive, high-quality education for all students.

As a certified AP teacher and a two-time presenter at the Ohio Council for the Social Studies, I bring not only subject matter expertise but also a passion for making history and government relevant, engaging, and empowering.
