I am a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Science Education with a concentration in Biology, as well as a minor in Middle School General Science. I am passionate about helping students because I love to see that "lightbulb" moment when something that seemed impossible finally clicks. I love creating a relationship with students that makes learning a comfortable environment. I have been a High School Biology teacher for 3 years and I taught Anatomy & Physiology for a year as well. I have also tutored students in Algebra I and II, Earth and Space Science, and Spelling and Grammar. My teaching style is learning by doing. I love to ask follow-up questions to student answers to ensure that they have a full understanding of material. I also love to provide examples to use as references.
