Certified Tutor

I am an incoming sophomore at Hofstra University, majoring in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience as part of the competitive BS/MD program that guarantees admission to the Zucker School of Medicine. I've worked with students of all ages, from middle schoolers just beginning to explore scientific thinking to high schoolers aiming for top scores on the SAT. My teaching experience includes mentoring high school peers in biology and math, volunteering internationally to design bilingual lesson plans, and leading interactive group sessions on science and language. I've taught students from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels, and I take pride in adapting to each learner's goals and pace. Having recently been through the college preparatory process and standardized testing, I understand how to pinpoint difficult topics and curate a lesson plan that is individualized to students. I tutor SAT Math, English composition, grammar, and biology at all levels. Outside of academia, I'm passionate about writing, health science, and engaging in biomedical research projects.
