I am a certified educator with over 20 years of experience working with students at the elementary and middle school levels. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Master of Science in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from the University at Albany. My professional background combines classroom teaching with curriculum design, enabling me to provide high-quality, targeted instruction tailored to each student's individual needs.

While I offer support across a broad range of subjects, I specialize in reading and mathematicstwo foundational areas that are critical to a student's academic development. I am passionate about helping students develop strong literacy skills, as reading serves as the gateway to all learning. Likewise, I find great satisfaction in guiding students through the process of building mathematical understanding and confidence, transforming areas of struggle into opportunities for growth.

My instructional approach is student-centered, data-informed, and grounded in best practices. I work to foster not only academic progress but also self-confidence and motivation in my students. Whether I am reinforcing core skills or providing enrichment, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy reading, skiing, working out, and supporting my children in their athletic pursuits, including baseball and football. These interests help me maintain a balanced lifestyle and bring energy and enthusiasm to my work with students.
