I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology at Georgetown University, where I've developed a deep passion for the biological sciences, particularly neuroscience. My academic path is part of a combined undergraduate and medical school track through the Early Assurance Program, and I'm a member of the Georgetown University School of Medicine Class of 2030. Alongside my studies, I've served as a Biology Teaching Assistant for over a year, where I worked closely with students to clarify complex topics and develop more effective study strategies. I also serve as the Director of Training for our campus EMT organization, a role that has given me the opportunity to lead and mentor new EMTs through both classroom instruction and hands-on simulation.
While I tutor across a broad range of subjects, I especially enjoy guiding students through SAT and ACT prep, especially in the reading, writing, and science sections. I find that standardized test prep offers a unique chance to build students' confidence in their problem-solving abilities while reinforcing foundational skills across multiple subjects. My favorite subject to tutor, however, is biology. Helping students connect abstract biological processes to real-world examples, especially in neuroscience, is something I find incredibly rewarding.
My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, patience, and curiosity. I aim to meet students where they are, build trust, and foster an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and engaging actively. I believe that learning is not about memorization, but about understanding, and once students feel empowered in that process, progress tends to follow naturally.
Outside of academics, I enjoy running, pottery, and spending time in nature. I also volunteer in medical settings, where I continue to learn from patients and providers alike. These experiences remind me that education is not just about knowledgeit's about connection, growth, and purpose.

Outside of academics, I’m passionate about staying active and engaged in both creative and service-oriented pursuits. I enjoy running and competing in triathlons, and I spend time in the gym as a way to stay disciplined and focused. I also enjoy pottery, it’s a great creative outlet and a welcome break from the academic and clinical environment. Beyond my hobbies, I stay involved with Georgetown’s Emergency Medical Services, where I serve as an Acting Crew Chief and Director of Training. It’s a role that combines leadership, clinical work, and teaching, and it’s been one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience. I’m also a researcher in a lab studying traumatic brain injury, where I work on understanding how brain injuries lead to long-term cognitive and behavioral changes. Both EMS and research allow me to stay connected to the medical field in hands-on ways and continue learning outside the classroom.
