I am an artist, educator, and lifelong learner. I have earned a BFA in painting and an MA in art education from UIUC, and a doctorate in Education from the University of Washington. I taught art education for Seattle Public Schools for 14 years. In 2011, I moved to Brazil and earned a post-doctorate in Applied Linguistics. Since then, I have been teaching English, primarily online. I would be thrilled to help you achieve your academic goals and develop a love for learning.
