I'm passionate about helping students because I love witnessing the "a-ha" moment -- when something finally clicks and a concept becomes clear. That moment of understanding is incredibly rewarding, both for the student and for me as a tutor. I've always enjoyed teaching others, and my time as a Teaching Assistant at the university level has deepened that passion. For the past two years, I've helped students succeed in Microeconomics, working with a wide range of learners to break down complex ideas into manageable, intuitive steps.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Missouri and am currently pursuing my Master's in Economics at the same institution. I primarily tutor Economics, with a strong focus on Microeconomics, which is my favorite subject to teach. I love how it combines real-world applications with structured logic, and I enjoy helping students see how economic principles apply to everyday decisions.
My tutoring style is approachable and focused on building confidence. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and ultimately mastering the material.

Outside of academics, I love going down Wikipedia rabbit holes and learning about everything from obscure historical events to niche economic theories. I enjoy cooking, especially trying out new recipes and improvising in the kitchen. I’m also a big fan of retro video games and like to unwind with a good gaming session or by playing with my golden retriever. When I’m not exploring new topics or gaming, I enjoy camping, watching reality TV with friends, and learning about new tech trends.
