As a passionate math enthusiast with a Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language Interpreting from Goshen College, I have over two years of tutoring experience that allows me to connect effectively with students. My journey in math has equipped me with a unique understanding of the challenges many face, particularly those with different learning styles. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where concepts like Linear Algebra become accessible through diverse strategies, including the use of manipulatives and engaging activities. Working daily as an American Sign Language interpreter in an elementary school further enriches my tutoring approach, as I am familiar with curriculum expectations and student needs. I am dedicated to igniting a love for math in my students, helping them realize that with the right support, they can succeed.
