Hey there! a little about me... I have 2 degrees fro the University of Texas at El Paso. A Bachelor's of Sciences in Biological science with a minor in mathematics and biomedical Engineering and my Master's in Biomedical engineering where I concentrated in Tissue engineering and Biomaterials. During My schooling, I was a tutor for first generation high school students at UT Arlington for a program called Upward Bound Math and Science. There, I got to tutor in a variety of topics including Cal I, Anatomy, Chemistry, Pre-Cal, and Research writting. During my Master's, I was an assistant instructor, teaching BME 3303 (intro to biomedical engineering) and MME 4302 (Biomaterials). Here I got to use my extensive chemistry and biology background to teach college students about different materials and production methods for microfluidic devices or tissue engineering. Being a first generation college student myself, it was important for me to help those who are in need and give back to the community. My successes will be yours as well and vice versa! There is nothing more rewarding than helping other succeed and help build a good platform to help you excel.
