Helping students grow in confidence and skill is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. Whether it's guiding someone through a tough writing assignment or breaking down complex concepts into simple, digestible parts, I love watching the moment when something "clicks." I'm passionate about tutoring because I believe learning should feel empoweringnot overwhelmingand I aim to create a space where students can discover their own strengths.
My experience working with students includes one-on-one coaching, group workshops, and classroom support. I've taught coding and media literacy to elementary and middle school students, mentored high schoolers through creative writing, and coached university students in communication, psychology, and digital content creation. I also have experience creating educational media, which helps me bring a dynamic and interactive element to my sessions.
I hold a Film and Video Production diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, as well as a double major in Communication and Psychology from the University of Toronto. These degrees have given me a well-rounded foundation to tutor subjects like English, essay writing, public speaking, media studies, psychology, and even beginner-level programming and digital storytelling.
My favorite subjects to tutor are English, writing, and media studies because they combine structure with creativity. I enjoy helping students organize their thoughts clearly while encouraging them to express themselves authentically. Writing is a skill that impacts every subject and career path, and I take pride in helping learners refine it.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in personalization, clarity, encouragement, and visualization. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods based on their pace, goals, and preferred learning style. I use visual aids, analogies, structured outlines, and active questioning to keep sessions both engaging and effective. Above all, I want students to feel heard, supported, and capable.
Outside of tutoring, I'm a filmmaker, writer, and content creator with a passion for storytelling and creative expression. I enjoy fitness training, working on personal video projects, and exploring the psychology behind motivation and learning.

Undergraduate Degree: University of Toronto - Bachelor of Science, Psychology
Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about storytelling in all forms—whether it’s through filmmaking, creative writing, or producing content for social media. I also enjoy strength training and fitness, which keeps me grounded and focused. When I’m not editing a video or refining a script, you can usually find me reading about psychology, exploring new creative tools, or helping others turn their ideas into something meaningful.
