I am a veteran teacher of 25 years. I have taught 4-7th grade Math and Science. I have tutored 3rd grade and 8th grade math as well. I really enjoy teaching and working with small groups of students. I love helping students to learn how to problem solve and think about math and science. I want to see my students have confidence in themselves as well as confidence in their ability to learn. Student centered learning is so important to me. I know strategies for learning math and science that will be helpful to the success of my students.

I am retired right now, I thoroughly enjoy working in my garden and growing vegetables. I am not skilled in growing flowers though. I do love to create items with my sewing machine and crocheting. I also teach people how to crochet and sew.
